Psychological debriefing is a therapeutic method intended for groups or individuals faced with exceptional conditions endangering their lives or the lives of others. Developed in the USA some fifteen years ago for firemen and for Vietnam veterans, it was subsequently adapted for aid-workers and victims faced with catastrophic situations. Technically debriefing refers to a short psychological supervision of the victims and is given as a preventive measure.

The CPH has a long experience of this type of intervention, whether in the field or in Europe, and it offers this service in collaboration with a team of specialists.
